 Welcome To The New Home of Parkland High School Wrestling!
Parkland Wrestling is proud to be a member of the NHSCA Sports Network.
Our site is meant to inform and provide a wealth of information to Parkland wrestlers, fans, parents, and the community about our program. This site is also our main forum to showcase our wrestler's accomplishments and achievements.

Wrestlers from Parkland High Traveled to Delaware Valley High School (Milford PA) to compete in the 4th annual Warrior Duals. Coached by Derek Jenkins and Matt Spengler they completed the day undefeated with a 5 - 0 record. Congratulations to all wrestlers that competed. Outstanding job wrestlers and coaches! Congratulations to Parkland Wrestlers achieving All American Status at High School Nationals this past week!! Wade Rivera / Junior 160lb All American 4th Place Tarik Haddad / Sophomore 189lb All American 8th Place Rich Trotta / Freshman 135lb All American 8th Place  The level of competition was extremely high. Rivera wins District 11 Title! Parkland sends 9 to Regionals! Wade Rivera 1st place Ian Heist 2nd place Mike Fake 3rd place Mike Ottinger 3rd place Brandon Davis 4th place Justin Heller 5th place Andrew Moore 5th place Tarik Haddad 5th place Rich Trotta 6th place Congratulations Trojan Wrestlers and Coaches!  This is the highest number of Regional Qualifiers from Parkland in the past decade. Who of the "Trojan 9" will advance to States? Come check out the action this Friday and Saturday at the NE Regional Tournament at Freedom High School.

Parkland JV Wrestlers Have another great showing @ the 2009 D11 JV Tournament. 7 out of 15 of our Trojan wrestlers medaled with Cory Bruder winning his bracket at 189lbs. The team finished third place overall behind Northampton (1st) and Liberty (2nd). Individual results are as follows.
119 - Ron Beimel, 4th 130 - Jack Kottler, 6th 145 - William Hansford, 2nd 152 - Ryan Irwin, 4th 160 - Neil Sprenkle, 3rd 189 - Cory Bruder, 1st 285 - Joe Canelon, 3rd Overall it was a really strong showing by the team. Most of the boys weren't eliminated until late in the afternoon on Saturday. They kept Coach Spangler and Coach Jenkins running all over the gym.
